The Pioneers

They were the first "Free Danes" in England, that tried to help the incipient Resistance in Denmark. They were trained and deployed as SOE agents. The first Danish agents started training in January 1941. In total 57 Danish agents were brought into action.
In most cases they landed by parachute, and the necessary equipment was dropped by means of containers or packages.
